# CamSetu terms and conditions Last updated 30 July 2026. Canonical page: https://camsetu.com/terms ## Who these terms are between These terms are an agreement between **Codeverse Weenggs Solutions LLP** (“we”, “us”), which operates CamSetu from 222, Avalon Business Hub, Ambatalavadi, Katargam, Surat, Gujarat 395004, India, and the studio or organisation that holds a CamSetu account (“you”). By creating an account or paying for a plan, you accept these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so. Guests who open a gallery link do not hold an account and are not party to these terms. What we do with their data is covered by our [privacy policy](/privacy). ## What CamSetu does CamSetu is a service for delivering event photographs. You upload an event once; your guests open a link, find their own photos using a selfie, and download them. It includes a studio panel for managing events and photos, guest galleries you control, face matching, and a desktop application for bulk uploads. We may add, change or remove features. If a change materially reduces what your current plan does, we will tell you before it takes effect. ## Your account You need a working email address and mobile number. Keep them current — we use them to reach you about your account, and the sign-in link goes to your email. **There is no password.** You sign in through a link we email you, so anyone with access to your inbox can reach your account. Treat that inbox accordingly. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything done by people you invite to your studio. ## Plans, prices and payment Plans are billed monthly or yearly in Indian rupees. **Prices exclude GST**, which is charged in addition where it applies. Payments are handled by **Razorpay**. We never see or store your card details. Your plan starts once the payment clears. Each payment covers one period and does **not** renew automatically — you pay again to continue. We may change prices; a change affects your next payment, never one already made, and we will tell you before it applies. Your plan sets limits on the number of photos and the amount of storage. When you reach a limit, uploads stop until you remove content or move to a larger plan. ## Cancellation and refunds **Payments are not refundable.** Because each payment covers one period and nothing renews automatically, you cancel simply by not paying again — you keep everything you paid for until that period ends. If you believe you were charged in error, or something went wrong on our side, write to us and we will look at it properly. This clause is about ordinary change of mind, not about mistakes. ## If your plan ends When a plan ends, your account becomes **read-only for 30 days**. You can still sign in and download your photos during that time; you cannot upload new ones. After those 30 days we may delete your events, photos and the face data derived from them. **Deletion is permanent** — we cannot recover them afterwards, so download anything you need within the window. Starting a new plan before the window closes restores full access. ## Your photos stay yours You keep all rights in the photographs you upload. We claim no ownership. You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store your photos, generate smaller versions of them, analyse faces in them so guests can find themselves, and show them to the people you share them with. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account. **We do not use your photos to advertise CamSetu**, sell them, or show them to anyone you have not shared them with. If we ever wanted to feature a studio’s work, we would ask first. ## Permission to upload photos of other people This is the most important thing on this page, because CamSetu processes photographs of identifiable people. By uploading photos you confirm that you have the right to do so, and that you have the permissions you need from the people in them — including permission for their faces to be analysed so they and other guests can be matched to photographs. **Obtaining that permission is your responsibility, not ours.** You are the one with the relationship with your client and their guests; we never meet them. If someone in your photos asks for their face data or their photographs to be removed, tell us and we will act on it. A guest may also contact us directly, and we may act on such a request without waiting for you. You must not upload photographs taken without the knowledge of the people in them, or use face matching for surveillance, monitoring or identifying strangers. That is not what this service is for, and doing it is grounds for immediate termination. ## Acceptable use Do not upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the rights to. Do not upload sexual content involving minors, or content that is obscene or abusive — such material will be removed and reported where the law requires. Do not attempt to break into the service, disrupt it, get around plan limits, or access another studio’s events. Do not resell access to CamSetu as if it were your own service without a written agreement with us. Do not use the service to build a face database that is unrelated to delivering photos to the guests of a specific event. ## Availability and support We work to keep CamSetu available and your photos safe, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, third-party outages and faults happen. **Keep your own copies of your photographs.** CamSetu is a delivery service, not a backup service, and you should not rely on it as the only copy of anything. We aim to reply within a few working days. ## Suspension and termination You can stop using CamSetu at any time, and delete your events and account from the panel. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms — particularly the sections on permission and acceptable use. Where the circumstances allow it, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put things right. Where they do not, such as unlawful content, we may act immediately. If we close your account for a breach, no refund is due. ## Liability Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, **our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose**. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business, or for photographs you did not keep your own copy of. You are responsible for claims arising from your own use of the service — in particular claims by people in the photographs you uploaded, where you did not have the permissions described above. ## Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at **Surat, Gujarat, India** have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. ## Changes to these terms We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and if a change is significant we will tell account holders by email rather than relying on you to notice.
